Join us for an optional day out on the ocean in a chartered boat. Timing, inclusions and activities still TBD. This will be an add-on cost, likely ~$40 USD per person, please indicate whether you would like to join when you RSVP so we can reserve the proper sized vessel.

This hotel is attached to the actual wedding venue, so convenient to the max! This is also where we plan to hang out the day after the wedding. The rate shown is also from Hotels.com rather than direct thru the hotel website.

Hotel Meson de Mita

We have a room block setup within the listed date range. There are only 9 units (2 left as of 8/24/26), so book them up while they are there! This location is right down the road from the wedding venue and close to everything you might need during your stay. Featuring a private beach area, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The property has a concierge service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests.

Hotel La Quinta del Sol

Pamper yourself with onsite massages or enjoy recreation amenities such as an outdoor pool. Make yourself at home in one of the 15 individually decorated guestrooms. There are plenty of cute AirBnB's around town to choose from, but we'd like to highlight these properties - we stayed at Los Suenos in 2025 when we were wedding planning and had a great experience. All locations are within walking distance to the wedding venue and give a little extra 'local flare'. The host Julianna is delightful and answered so many questions for us!

Car Rentals

Car rentals are cheap! Insurance is where they will get you - so keep that in mind before reserving the cheapest car you find. Research shows <a href="https://geckorentcar.com/en/inicio/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Gecko Rent a Car</a> is the best.

Local Bus 

Direct, affordable buses run from Puerto Vallarta to Punta de Mita every 15–30 minutes, operated primarily by ATM Medina and Compostela. Uber

Uber is available around Puerto Vallarta and Punta de Mita. An Uber from Puerto Vallarta (or PVR Airport) to Punta Mita generally costs between $600 and $900 MXN ($35–$55 USD) for a standard car, depending on demand and exact location. Travel time is approximately 45–60 minutes.

Getting around Punta de Mita

For the most part, Punta de Mita is very walkable, but if/when driving is necessary (and, you don't have a rental car), it is common to use/rent golf carts to get around town!
